Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter catch a special screening of Beyond the Clouds

Ishaan Khatter will make his acting debut with acclaimed Iraniran director Majid Majidi’s film Beyond the Clouds, which is slated to release in the theatres on April 20, 2018. Ishaan plays the role of Amir who gets separated from his sister Tara; the film documents their journey.

The makers and the lead cast have been promoting the film. They hosted a screening today for members of the fraternity. Majid Majidi, R. Balki with Gauri Shinde and other celebrities were clicked at the special screening of the film. Shashank Khaitan was also clicked by the shutterbugs at the screening.

Ishaan Khatter’s Dhadak co-star Janhvi Kapoor arrived with dad Boney Kapoor to attend the special screening. Khushi Kapoor also arrived to watch the film.

Janhvi and Ishaan wrapped up Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak two days ago. The film will release on July 20, 2018.

About the film, Ishaan had said, “By the time I was approached for 'Beyond The Clouds', I had signed 'Dhadak', which was going to be my debut movie. But I told Karan sir and he asked me to go ahead with the project and I'm really grateful for it.”

Ishaan stars with Malavika Mohanan in the film, who pays the role of Tara. About the film’s plot, Ishaan had said in an earlier interview, “It is a real and rare piece of work. It talks deeply about humanity, relationships that are beyond familial ties. It is about ordinary people who go through extra ordinary experiences.”
