Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter make for a quirky pair at Dhadak's special screening

A special screening of newcomers Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak was held last night. The event was attended by the makers of the film and Janhvi's family members too.
Janhvi and Ishaan looked elated as their film is finally nearing its release. Janhvi looked pretty wearing a pink coloured dress with golden stripes and a halter neck. She wore a pair of peep toes, small gold hoops and a gold bracelet. On the other hand, Ishaan wore a blue shirt and brown trousers.
They were all smiles posing for the shutterbugs present there.
Moreover, before the screening, the Dhadak duo did a photoshoot, where Janhvi wore the same Prabal Gurung creation and Ishaan was seen in a white dialogue shirt and grey distressed jeans with an unbuttoned monochrome checkered shirt.

Talking about Dhadak, the film is an official adaptation of 2016's Marathi blockbuster Sairat which was directed by Nagraj Manjule. Dhadak is helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
Dhadak is extensively shot in the cities of Rajasthan and Kolkata. The film talks about the love story between a rich girl and a poor boy while Ishaan and Janhvi's character names are Madhukar and Parthavi.
The music for the romantic film is composed by the Sairat duo Ajay-Atul and they have created the songs Zingat and Yad Lagla.
