Janhvi Kapoor attended a film’s screening in Mumbai today with her father Boney Kapoor. She kept it simple in a traditional outfit. Hair tied in a ponytail and minimal make up completed her look. Haat the Weekly Bazar starring Divya Dutta and Jasvinder Narula was screened today and Janhvi, Boney Kapoor and other dignitaries honoured 8 women of Matunga Railway Station. After the film’s screening, Boney Kapoor hugged daughter Janhvi Kapoor and the father-daughter duo shared a tender moment.

Janhvi Kapoor debuted in the industry with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak. The film is a remake of the Marathi superhit film Sairat and has been directed by Shashank Khaitan. Janhvi received praise, not only from the industry but also the audience and the critics for her screen presence and acting in the film. Boney Kapoor had also given an interview to a portal and had said that Janhvi is wonderful in the film and he has not stopped getting calls from the industry members who are raving about her work in the movie.

There were reports that Janhvi’s next film will be the biopic of the first woman IAF chopper pilot Gunjan Saxena. However, reports suggest that Janhvi has signed Shashank Khaitan’s next which will be a spy thriller. The film will be on the lines of the Bourne series or Jack Ryan and will star Varun Dhawan as the male lead.

Janhvi has also signed Karan Johar’s next directorial Takht. The film will go on floors in August 2019 and also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
