Jabariya Jodi: Parineeti Chopra & Sidharth Malhotra stay true to their roles during promotions in Delhi; PICS

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are jumping from city to city for the promotion of their upcoming flick Jabariya Jodi. The comedy drama will finally hit the theatres on August 2, this year. Jabariya Jodi is based on instances of ‘Pakadwa Shaadi’ (groom kidnappings) prevalent in Bihar. In the film, Sidharth plays a character named Abhay Singh while Parineeti portrays a girl called Babli Yadav. The trailer of the film has already created a buzz around.

Today, the duo was spotted in New Delhi promoting their film in their own characters. Pari and Sid got papped having pan together in Connaught Place. While Sidharth opted for a Bihari style in a leaf printed shirt alongwith a red scarf and sunglasses as his own roleplay, Parineeti chose to wear a green jacket teamed up with white sneakers. Talking about the film in an interview with TOI,  Parineeti said, "This is just the kind of film Sidharth and I were looking for. The humour, desi swag, the Bihari language and the storyline… everything is in sync. And it’s not a new territory for me as I have been part of similar stories that were based in small towns. They have really helped me to evolve as an actor. It’s definitely challenging, but being an actor gives me a chance to explore many characters."
