Jabariya Jodi First Look: Sidharth Malhotra & Parineeti Chopra make for a quirky yet deadly pair in the poster

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra's chemistry was like a breath of fresh air in the slice-of-life movie Hasee Toh Phasee (2014). Fans eagerly waited for this onscreen pair to create magic on the silver screen, yet again. Finally, the two stars reunite for Balaji Motion Picture's Jabariya Jodi, which is being helmed by Prashant Singh. The movie, which was initially titled Shotgun Shaadi got changed to Jabariya Jodi. The new title was recommended by Sidharth, according to an earlier report in DNA. 

The lead pair commenced shooting for Jabariya Jodi a few days back in Lucknow. Parineeti took to her Twitter page today to share the first look of the movie, which is based on a love story with the backdrop of groom abductions. In the poster shared by Pari, the stars make for a quirky yet deadly pair. They are seen standing between an abducted and unconscious groom as they prepare to take a selfie. Parineeti simply tweeted, "ANNOUNCEMENT - shooting begins!! @S1dharthM @balajimotionpic."

Meanwhile, Parineeti took a break from the shoot of Jabariya Jodi to attend the roka ceremony of her Mimi didi aka Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The actress was also a part of the engagement bash, which was held on Saturday night at Priyanka's residence in Mumbai. Pari took to her Instagram page to share a sweet post for her cousin and future brother-in-law.
