Ishaan Khatter arrives at Anil Kapoor’s residence to meet Janhvi Kapoor, see PICS

Sridevi’s sudden and untimely passing away has left a huge void. Fans have gathered outside her residence in Mumbai and have joined the bereaved Kapoor family in mourning.

Celebrities and close friends including Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were clicked at Anil Kapoor’s residence earlier today. Janhvi Kapoor’s close friend and co-star Ishaan Khatter was also clicked at Anil Kapoor’s house.

Janhvi and Ishaan will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Dhadak being helmed by Shashank Khaitan. Dhadak is an official remake of superhit Marathi film Sairat directed by Nagraj Manjule.

Dhadak was earlier scheduled to release on July 6, 2018, but now it has been postponed for a July 20, 2018, release. 

In one of her interviews, Sridevi talked about the advice that she keeps giving Janhvi regarding her big screen debut. She had said, "As a mother, like any mother, whether they are coming to this profession or any other, you just tell them to do the right thing. Like, do hard work, give your 100 percent, hard work always pays."

In another interview, when she was asked about the constant comparisons that Janhvi will have to face after her debut, Sridevi had said, "We can't run away from that. She has to face the pressure. When she has decided to enter Bollywood, she has to go through all this. She's prepared for all that, and I am also preparing myself for it. Sometimes, it scares me. So many thoughts come and you feel why is she doing this? But then, if you feel that is her aim and happiness, as a mother, I will support her like my mom supported me. We weren't from a film background but it happened and she stood by me, fought for me and made sure I am happy. That's how I would also like to be with Janhvi."

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor and brother Sanjay Kapoor are in Dubai completing the necessary formalities for the repatriation of Sridevi’s mortal remains.
