Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan promote Beyond the Clouds on DID Li'l Masters, view PICS

Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan are currently busy promoting their film Beyond the Clouds, directed by Majid Majidi. The two were today clicked on the sets of DID Li'l Masters and going by the pictures, they had a gala time on the show. 

Ishaan looked dapper in a white tee and denim. He rounded his look with white sneakers. The debutante was also seen grooving to special numbers. On the other hand, Malavika looked drop dead gorgeous in a peach-coloured outfit. Dewy makeup and pink lipstick accentuated her look.

Ishaan and Malavika play Amir and Tara in the film who are separated by circumstances. The film deals with how they come to understand life and the importance of human bonds in life. 

Talking about the film, Ishaan had told a leading daily, ''Perhaps a lot of people don't have the good fortune of getting a part that's challenging. Two things happen of you start with a  film that's layered and complex - you might choke and sink, or you'll grow out of it. Somehow, I didn't feel fear because I didn't choose this part, it chose me. I wasn't in a position to choose a Majid Majidi film.''

In an earlier interview, Malavika had talked about how she bagged the film. “Last year, when I was out having dinner with my friend, I got a call from Honey Trehan (the casting director of Beyond The Clouds) asking me to urgently send over some pictures to him. But while doing the look test, I was hopeful of bagging this much-coveted role. I’m a huge fan of Majidi sir and have grown up watching his films. A few days later, I got a confirmation call from the makers,” she had said.

Beyond the Clouds will hit the screens on April 20, 2018.
