Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan look stylish as they promote Beyond the Clouds in the city

Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter’s acting debut, Iranian director Majid Majidi’s film Beyond the Clouds is set to hit the theatres on April 20, 2018. Ishaan and co-star Malavika Mohanan have begun promoting the film by conducting media interactions. Last week, they also turned showstoppers at the ongoing fashion week in the city.

Ishaan and Malavika play siblings in the film – Amir and Tara, whose life changes due to unforeseen circumstances. The film depicts how they get separated and life takes over. Ishaan and Malavika promoted the film today and looked super-stylish. Ishaan opted for a printed shirt and denim, whereas Malavika looked pretty in a white top and striped pant.

Ishaan has already bagged his second film with the reputed Dharma Productions and is shooting for Dhadak with Janhvi Kapoor. 

In an earlier interview, Malavika had talked about how she bagged the film. “Last year, when I was out having dinner with my friend, I got a call from Honey Trehan (the casting director of Beyond The Clouds) asking me to urgently send over some pictures to him. But while doing the look test, I was hopeful of bagging this much-coveted role. I’m a huge fan of Majidi sir and have grown up watching his films. A few days later, I got a confirmation call from the makers,” she had said.

About the film, Ishaan had said, “Every actor has an image about how he wants to kickstart his journey in films and Beyond The Clouds is as close as it can get for me, As an actor, it is important to begin your career with someone who will set the foundation for you and your craft. Simply observing Majidi sir was a big learning experience.
