Milind Soman has shut down rumours of his breakup with his girlfriend Ankita Konwar in the most definitive way possible. The 52 -year-old actor, model, and fitness enthusiast is set to tie the knot with Ankita Konwar in a private ceremony in Alibaug on Saturday evening, according to reports. 

The couple’s friends have posted pictures on Instagram from the pre-wedding festivities. Milind looked handsome in a white kurta-pyjama while Ankita opted for a bright yellow lehenga and floral jewelry. The two look just perfect together. In one of the pictures, Ankita is seen flaunting her mehendi.

A source previously told an entertainment portal, “Milind timed his visit to coincide with Ankita’s nephew’s birthday, so he could meet her friends, family and relatives, who were in attendance. Now that the lovebirds have the family’s blessings, they will solemnise their relationship in 2018.”

Talking about his girlfriend Ankita, Milind earlier told a leading daily, "I don’t really worry about competition in anything because basically, it’s about me. And if it’s a relationship, it’s about both the people. And I don’t consider age at all for anything — whether its relationships, fitness or health or whatever."

Last year, in an interview with a leading news portal, Milind had spoken about his girlfriend and had said, "The girl I’m with right now actually likes my restlessness. She accepts that I may be in one place today and a different one tomorrow, or doing one thing today and something else tomorrow. In fact, she’s a bit like that (the two live in separate cities)."
