Kareena Kapoor Khan is looking like a million bucks after shedding all the pregnancy weight. She is all set to begin work on her next film which she signed before delivering Taimur Ali Khan. There has been a lot of buzz around Veere Di Wedding which is touted as her comeback film. Kareena will be sharing screen space with Sonam Kapoor for the first time with this film. Kareena and Swara did a look-test for the film today as it is expected to go on floors soon. Both the actresses looked extremely fashionable in their casual outfits.
About her look in the film, Kareena was earlier quoted saying, “It will be stylish. And with Sonam – the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt”. She elaborated on her role in the film and said, “I’m possessive about my friends and this film reflects that side of me. It’s the story of four girls who attend my wedding and all the dhamaal that it involves. It showcases women and their emotions. It’s the right time to do this kind of film.”
The film will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh and will be shot in Delhi and Bangkok. Swara Bhaskar and Sumeet Vyas have also been signed apart from Kareena and Sonam Kapoor. The film has been embroiled in controversies ever since it was announced. Most recently, there has been a controversy over the name of the film. The title ‘Veeri Di Wedding’ has been registered by Jimmy Shergill and since he registered it first, it looks like producer Rhea Kapoor will have to go ahead with a different name.
