Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani got engaged today to Shloka Mehta. Akash had proposed to Shloka in Goa in March this year in the presence of their families. The Ambani family hosted a pre-engagement bash to celebrate the couple. Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Karan Johar had arrived to congratulate the couple.
Today, at their engagement, the who’s who of Bollywood arrived in style. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were at their fashionable best; Ranbir opted for a Rohit Bal outfit whereas Alia looked stunning in a Manish Malhotra saree. Karan Johar who is a close family friend also arrived for the ceremony.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan were color coordinated as they arrived for the bash. Shah Rukh donned a custom suit whereas Gauri Khan looked resplendent in a Falguni and Shane Peacock dress.
Priyanka Chopra arrived with rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas and looked ravishing in a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree.
Isha Ambani and Shloka Mehta looked stunning in embroidered Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehengas.
From the ceremony, Alia Bhatt shared a selfie with Karan Johar and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherjee and captione it, “With my main men”

Akash and Shloka studied together at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and the families have been friends for many years. Shloka is the daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta who owns Rosy Blue Diamonds. The wedding will take place in December this year at a five star hotel in the city.
