Today, the actor shared a picture of himself on his social media account and boy, he is raising the temperature with his killer looks. In the picture, he is looking dapper in a black suit and is seen posing for the camera.

Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming movie Padmavati has been embroiled in a string of controversies ever since its announcement. Shahid will be seen essaying the role of Maha Rawal Ratan Singh.
While talking about the film and his character, Shahid had said to a leading daily, “Padmavati is a huge part of my journey and is very close to my heart because I’ve literally put my blood and sweat into this film. It’s also my first experience working with Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and I think words would fail to express how much gratitude I have towards him for teaching me everything and helping me in becoming this character. I also would like to say that it really is a privilege to play Maha Rawal Ratan Singh, a Rajput king who was a great warrior and a great king.”
During IFFI 2017, when Shahid was asked about postponing of film and when it will release, the actor said, "That's a question I wish I could answer right now. As you see there's a statement the production of the film is made saying that they have chosen to defer the film because we want to go through the due course, we want to go through the right channels, we wanted to go through the entire process and we are hoping that the CBFC will clear the film very soon."
Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmavati is slated to release on 1st December 2017.
