Hilary Swank marries Philip Schneider, shares photos from her wedding album

Academy Award winning actress Hilary Swank tied the knot with fiancé Philp Schneider on August 21, 2018. The couple got married in the redwoods of the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, Califonia. The couple got engaged two years ago in Colorado. Hilary looked beautiful in an Elie Saab couture gown and was walked down the aisle by her father. Hilary and Philip tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family. Hilary shared photos from her wedding album on her Instagram account.

She told Vogue, “I've loved Elie Saab for years and was thrilled to have him design my dress,” further adding, “I wanted something romantic that felt as timeless as the redwood grove where we were to be married, and he delivered—designing something that far surpassed my greatest expectations. It was everything I imagined and more.” Hilary and Philip were set up by SuperNatural actor Misha Collins’ wife Vicki. It was a blind date and the couple met at 10 AM for brunch parted at 11 PM. Hilary said in the interview to Vogue that they felt an instant connection.

Philip Schneider is a social venture entrepreneur from California. They wed close to her home in California as her father, who has had a lung transplant three years ago is unable to fly.

Talking about the ceremony and the venue, she told Vogue, “It’s a stunning private community surrounded by 20,000 acres of conservancy and an intimate redwood grove populated with trees that are over 800 years old”
