Abhishek (Gattu) Kapoor has completed the first schedule of Kedarnath in the temple town. The film will mark the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara. We bring you some inside information on Saif’s daughter. Sara loves eating bhindi and is known to break out into some impromptu singing on the sets! In the film, she plays a priest’s daughter who falls in love with a pithoo ( a man who carries luggage/people on his back from one place to another).

Says a unit member, “Sara works out regularly on the sets with her trainer. In Mumbai, she trained in Pilates with Namrata Purohit but what most don’t know is Sara’s love or rather passion for bhindi or okra or ladies fingers. She can have any amount of it in either raw or cooked form and at all times of the day. Sara is very professional and has been like a dream to work with. While she is on a proper diet, Sara is very particular about the fact that she has to have bhindi for all her meals so the lodge where she stayed had to have the vegetable in plentiful supply. The high fiber content of the vegetable helps digestion, results in a glowingly, healthy-looking skin and enables weight loss. Sara also loves singing and often starts humming her favorite songs on the sets. But once the camera lights are on, she’s completely focused on her acting and delightful to watch.”

Sara’s fondness for bhindi reminded everyone on the Kedarnath sets, of Kareena Kapoor Khan, who at one time used to consume tons of makhana (lotus seeds) on or off the sets in the films she worked with. Kareena has always said that small meals and makhanas as a snack have helped her maintain her fabulous figure as they are the good source of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, and minerals and enables weight loss. So is Sara following in her stepmother’s footsteps, who she is very close to?

Kedarnath producer Prernaa says, “Abhishek is a wonderful human and a creative genius. Our co-producer Pragya Kapoor’s (Gattu’s wife) support to us is phenomenal. She’s a great partner and a great person to be associated with. Sara is lovely and graceful and  most suited to do this role.”

Pragya adds, “No movie has been shot in Kedarnath before and despite the difficult terrain and the ever-changing climate, the team has worked hard to make sure it's a smooth journey. I'm grateful to Arjun N Kapoor and Prernaa for giving their full support and being completely involved at every stage. Sara is a joy to watch - not only is she absolutely stunning but also incredibly talented! Gattu truly brings out the best in her.”
