Recently, at the trailer launch of Haseena Parkar, when Shraddha was asked if she is happy to shed the girl-next-door image she has in her movies, the actress said, "I don't think I can ever get bored of romantic films and being a part of romantic films. I think that I've had the opportunity to be a part of a few romantic films now. Films that have had a very strong love angle. So, me being somebody who loves watching them... watching romantic movies, I love being a part of them. I would always take up an interesting romantic script, always."
Talking about the film, Haseena Parkar is a biopic on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena. The underworld film is set to hit the screens on September 22, 2017. Haseena Parkar will be clashing with Bhoomi which stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari and is directed by Omung Kumar.
