Happy Birthday Virat Kohli: The captain celebrates birthday in style with Team India

The captain of India's cricket team and everyone's favourite handsome lad Virat Kohli celebrates his birthday today. 

The 29-year old was surrounded by his teammates such as Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya as he cut not one, but two customised cakes. One was a cricket pitch cake while the other had a Virat figurine as well.

Virat took to his Instagram page to share pictures from the celebrations as the teammates put cake all over his face after he cut his cake dressed in Team India's jersey. In one of the photos, a cake smashed Virat is seen holding a tiny bat while the figurine is placed on his head.

Thanking everyone for the love and wishes showered on him, the cricketer's caption reads as, "Thank you, everyone, for all the love and the wishes.

Meanwhile, Virat's relationship with Anushka Sharma has been in the headline for the longest time and Kohli does not shy away from talking about his ladylove.

Recently, on a chat show, Virat was all praises for Anushka as he said, "Sir lady luck ka kamaal hai (I've got to thank my lady luck). You've (Gaurav) seen me, you know I had no brains before. Ever since the lady has come into my life, she's taught me a lot of things."

On why he did not hide his relationship with Anushka, Virat revealed, "A very big reason behind me not hiding my relationship is Mr. Zaheer Khan. Luckily he was one of the first guys I spoke to about this and he said whatever you do don't try to hide it because you'll stress yourself. And on top of that, you're in a relationship, you're not doing anything wrong. I'm actually very grateful that my first interaction about this was with Zak. And he told me the right thing to do so I've followed it ever since."
