Gwyneth Paltrow finally REVEALS why Brad Pitt tries to look like his exes
The riddle of why Brad Pitt tries to imitate the looks of his exes like Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie was finally solved by ex-fiancée Gwyneth Paltrow through an Instagram comment.
It was in the '90s when a young Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow were madly in love and engaged to get married. However, the couple broke off their engagement in 1997. Unlike his other exes, Gwyneth and he are on amicable terms now and every so often, the Avengers: Endgame actress would openly speak about Pitt and their relationship. Brad went on to get married to Jennifer Aniston and then Angelina Jolie. Whereas, Gwyneth was first married to Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, and recently got married to Brad Falchuk.
There was a recent newspaper clipping from an edition of Daily Express, dated back to 2006, featuring Brad Pitt, which was going viral. The headline read, "Brad: the man who likes to look like his girlfriend," with photos of Brad posing with Jennifer, Angelina and Gwyneth. Twitterati went berserk with the similarities but they too could not solve the puzzle piece of Brad's obsession. Leave it to one of his exes to clear the air and solve the riddle. And no, it's not Angie!
A great thing I saw in @georgia_tal’s IG stories yesterday.
When the clipping was shared on Instagram, Gwyneth went on to comment on the same revealing, "Or we like to look like him, let’s face it." Note the use of "we," and we wonder if Jennifer and Angelina feel the same way as Gwyneth.
mind = blown. #CommentsByCelebs
Hilarious, indeed!
Last year, while talking to Wall Street Journal magazine, Gwyneth got candid about her ex-fiance and how during her breakup with him in 1997, the level of scrutiny by the paparazzi was not that intense in comparison to today's times.
"Cameron Diaz and I talk about this all the time. We’re like, ‘Thank God in the early ’90s there were [so few] paparazzi. Thank God.’ We cry in gratitude that no one was following us around and seeing what we were doing. I remember when Brad Pitt and I broke up, it was on the cover of the New York Post and there was no one outside my house. That would never happen today," the actress shared.
