Gold: Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy launch the song Naino Ne Baandhi
Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer Gold is gearing up for its release on August 15, 2018. The team launched Naino Ne Baandhi song from the film at an event today. Read on for more.
Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy are all set to star in their upcoming film Gold. The film marks the Bollywood debut of television diva Mouni Roy. Apart from Akshay and Mouni, the film also stars Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh, and Sunny Kaushal in important roles.
Akshay and Mouni, along with the entire team launched the song Naino Ne Baandhi from the film today.
Akshay Kumar arrived at the event looking all handsome and suave in a dark grey suit. On the other hand, Mouni Roy walked in wearing a sheer ivory coloured saree and looked breathtaking. She aced the minimal jewellery look by pairing her saree only with heavy oxidized jhumkas.
The event was also attended by other members of the team including actors Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Amit Sadh and Vineet Singh, as well as, singer Yasser Desai and music composer Arko.

Gold is set in the pre-independence era and is a story about a young assistant manager, Tapan Das, whose only wish is to win India its first gold medal in hockey as an independent nation. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Tapan Das, while Mouni Roy plays his supportive wife.
The film is shot extensively in London and Patiala. A few days ago, the trailer of the film was released, and it received immense love and appreciation from the viewers.
Gold is directed by Reema Kagti and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. It will be clashing with John Abraham's Satyamev Jayate.
