Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been married for over two decades and are an inspiration to many. They have time and again given fans relationship goals; from being young lovers in Delhi to being the power couple of Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan was bestowed with the prestigious Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos. Along with Shah Rukh, Sir Elton John and Cate Blanchett were also honored with the same award. Shah Rukh was presented with the award for his leadership in championing children’s and women’s rights in India. Shah Rukh Khan has been working with women who have been victims of acid attack through his NGO- Meer Foundation.
At the award ceremony, he said in his acceptance speech, “I want to thank my sister, my wife and my little daughter for bringing me up well and teaching me the value of requesting, sometimes imploring and begging a yes from a woman, instead of forcing it upon her.” Shah Rukh Khan gave an inspirational speech in which he spoke about the need for power reversal, the importance of service of others and about women empowerment.

Well, this is indeed a huge honor and an achievement for Shah Rukh Khan as he joins the ranks of celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Shabana Azmi who have also been recipients of this award.
