Ganesh Visarjan: Vivek Oberoi and family conduct Ganesh Aarti

Vivek Oberoi has received rave reviews for his acting in the recently released film, Vivegam. Vivek who plays a parallel lead in the film had welcomed Lord Ganesha into his house a couple of days ago. Today, Vivek and his family conducted Ganesh Aarti and led the visarjan procession.

Vivek is seen with his children and wife, Priyanka Alva. Vivek and Priyanka have two children, 4 year old son Vivaan Veer Oberoi and daughter Ameya Nirvana Oberoi who has just turned two. On the birth of his daughter, Vivek had said, “Now, my family is complete,Daughters are special and Priyanks and I are incredibly happy that it's a girl. I have once again experienced the joy of holding your newborn and realised that there is no greater feeling." 

Vivek was last seen in Bank Chor which was a heist comedy. When asked about doing fewer Bollywood films, Vivek had said, “I’m still choosy about my work. I like to do one film a year and sometimes even two, but not more. I’m enjoying watching my children grow. I like to spend more time with them. I also have my businesses and charitable organizations that keep me busy.”

Vivek has forayed in the Southern Film Industry with Vivegam and he says that it only took him 15 minutes to say yes to the role. ““It’s not the first south film I have been offered. I have turned down projects from all the south industries in the past. But when Siva approached me with Vivegam, it took just fifteen minutes to get convinced. I was moved by the passion with which he narrated and I wanted to work with him,” he said.
