Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi is a 10-day-festival celebrated to honour the birth of Ganesha, Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva’s son. Today, the festivities have come and all the Mumbaikars are celebrating the festival with all the grandeur.
The whole city is all decked up with lights and it gives the vibe of Diwali. As everyone is celebrating the festival, Bollywood is no far behind. Today, Neil Nitin Mukesh is celebrating the first Ganpati with beloved wife, Rukmini. The whole family is there to bless the newlyweds. We got the pictures and well, the two can't take eyes off each other. The duo is complimenting each other perfectly in their traditional outfits.
Talking about the festival, the actor told a leading agency, "My mother always desired of a Radhartheme for Ganpati since she is a devout Krishna follower so this year her long lasting desire has been fulfilled. It's been exactly one year since I met Rukmini and Bappa truly fulfilled my heart's desire. I clearly remember it was the first day of Ganpati last year when I met Rukmini and the minute she told me her name I was convinced that she was the one for me."
Speaking about his honeymoon, he added, "This year however I won't be there for the full 10 days as I am off on a working honeymoon with Rukmini. She quite enjoys coming to the sets as that's the only way we get to spend time with each other and she's quite the hands on wife. Ever since I got married I've just been busy with work and Rukmini deserves my complete attention so I will be extending my trip in London since London is her favourite holiday destination."
