Kapoor siblings celebrate Ganesh Chaturathi in Mumbai
Ranbir Kapoor is a regular attendee at RK Studio’s Ganesh Visarjan and Ganesh aarti. The Kapoor scion celebrates Ganesh Chaturathi with family each year. Last year too, Ranbir was spotted looking absolutely dapper in a blue kurta at the aarti. Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni too flies in from Delhi every year to be a part of this special occasion. This year too, the family will be celebrating together and will partake in the Visarjan.
Riddhima Kapoor is in Mumbai for Ganesh Chaturathi and shared a special photo on her social media account. In the photo, Ranbir looks handsome in a black kurta, whereas sister Riddhima looks her stunning self in a casual outfit. Seen with them is mom Neetu Kapoor’s friend, Dipti Sandesara.
Last year, Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were accused of slapping journalists during the Ganpati visarjan procession. But Rishi Kapoor had clarified saying, “They say Ranbir hit them, Ranbir would not hit a fly, how would he hit them".
Professionally, Ranbir is filming the Dutt biopic and is said to be very excited about it. About his role in the film, Ranbir was quoted saying, “It was surreal for me. You're acting like him, and the director calls cut, you look up, and suddenly there's Sanjay Dutt actually sitting behind the monitor! But then I'd got so obsessed with him. Every time I'd see him, I'd start observing him like a hawk — the way he scratches his beard, twitches his eye, drinks water, hugs… It'd become a bit of a sickness for me. But that obsession is necessary for acting, or any form of art — that madness to get something right. You may still fall flat on your face, but it's necessary.” The film will release in March, 2018.
