Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have been dating for a couple of months. The couple was first spotted together publicly on a movie date sparking rumours about them being in a relationship. In September, Shibani had posted a photo of her walking hand in hand with a man with his back to the camera and Twitterati were quick to recognize that it was Farhan Akhtar. Farhan wished Shibani on her birthday this year with kiss emoticons. Shibani also joined Farhan in Canada where he performed along with Shankar Mahadevan and others.

Farhan Akhtar finally made his relationship with Shibani Insta-official by recently sharing a photo of them holding hands and captioned it with a red heart emoji. Shibani posted a video of herself dancing to boyfriend Farhan’s song, ‘Senorita’ from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Recently, when Farhan Akhtar’s cousin Sajid Khan was accused of grave sexual misconduct, Farhan had come out in support of the victim and had shared that he was not aware of Sajid’s behaviour towards women. When he was trolled for his tweet, Shibani had defended him by tweeted, “Instead of holding the culprit responsible for gross misconduct, are we really blaming and shaming family members for not knowing??? Really?”
