Farhan Akhtar, Malaika Arora and Dia Mirza were spotted at the airport.
It was a star-studded affair in the city as celebrities went about their day. Amongst those snapped were Farhan Akhtar, Malaika Arora and Dia Mirza.
Farhan Akhtar was spotted at the airport as he arrived in Mumbai. The actor kept it casual cool in a black tee with light grey track pants and a grey hoodie. He was seen sporting white sneakers and black Lennons.
On the work front, Farhan will next be seen in Lucknow Central. Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, Lucknow Central stars Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles. The movie is slated to release on September 15, 2017.
Farhan who embarked on his Bollywood journey as a director in Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 only ventured into acting in 2008 with Rock On 2!!. The actor recently revealed to a leading daily that it was his sister and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar who coaxed him to take up acting as well. Farhan said, "I would credit her for having recognised the acting potential in me and making me an actor. I turned to acting only because of Zoya."
He added, "My mom and dad (Honey Irani and Javed Akhtar) always felt yeh kuch nahi karne wala hai. But Zoya, whenever she saw me with my friends, joking and laughing and keeping them engaged, thought I had something in me. It’s her belief and confidence in me that got me focused, and allowed me to start something with her."
Malaika Arora was spotted outside a salon and looked drop dead gorgeous in a white off-the shoulder dress with a high low hemline. The cotton dress looked breezy on her and the high low hemline gave her a chance to flaunt her toned legs. The bouffant sleeves gave the dress a breezier vibe. She paired the dress with a pair of metallic sneakers and reflective oversized aviators and wore her hair down with a bare face sans makeup.
Dia Mirza was also snapped at a salon and kept it casual in a black tee and black tights with simple flats and black sunglasses.
