Farhan Akhtar and ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani get together for a family dinner, view PHOTOS

Farhan Akhtar and ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani were granted divorce by mutual consent last year. The ex-couple separated after 15 years of marriage. Farhan and Adhuna continue to remain friends and are co-parenting their daughters Shakya and Akira. Farhan and Adhuna also continue to collaborate professionally.

Today, shutterbugs captured Adhuna with Farhan Akhtar and his family including his sister Zoya Akhtar and their mother. Farhan and Adhuna’s daughters Shakya and Akira were also snapped at the family dinner. Farhan looked dapper in semi-formals. Zoya Akhtar was clicked bidding goodbye to everyone as she made her way out of the restaurant. Adhuna was all smiles for the media. Check out the photos!

They had issued a statement in 2016, “This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner.”

There were reports that Farhan’s closeness to his co-star had led to the split. Farhan had moved out of their bungalow and had started living with his sister Zoya in the months preceding their separation.

Farhan was linked with his co-stars from Wazir and Rock On 2, Aditi Rao Hydari and Shraddha Kapoor respectively.

Shabana Azmi had said then, “I’ve always had an independent healthy relationship with Adhuna and it will always remain so.”
