Ranbir Kapoor was seen by his family’s side as news of Shashi Kapoor’s passing away came in. The Kapoor scion was spotted at the hospital and also at Shashi Kapoor’s residence. He was also seen with brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan at Shashi Kapoor’s funeral.

Yesterday, Ranbir Kapoor was clicked at the airport by shutterbugs. Ranbir will be resuming the shoot of his upcoming film, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dutt biopic. He flew to Cape Town via Dubai.

A source revealed, "Ranbir had a prior work commitment made in Dubai, which he couldn't miss and therefore had to resume work."

Manisha Koirala also shared a photo of her co-star rehearsing for the film before flying out to South Africa.

Ranbir’s fitness trainer Kunal Gir also shared on his social media account, that the team was heading to Cape Town to complete the shoot of the remaining portions.

About the film, Ranbir had earlier said, “With the Sanjay Dutt biopic, he has been so honest about his life. We are not portraying a Gandhi like charater. We're portraying a very fraud man. He's someone who is love and disliked. He's the most controversial, and to have the ability to tell about your life so honestly, and to make a movie out of it is very brave”

He had also said in an earlier interview, “We worked really hard at it, doing four months of prosthetic (make-up) trials, lots of disappointments, thinking that it's not going to work out. But you need to put in that time and effort. It's a daunting task to play someone like Sanjay Dutt, who everybody knows anyway.”
