Diwali 2018: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan pose for a family photo

Every year Bachchan family hosts a grand Diwali bash at their residence in Mumbai. However, this year the celebrations are low key and the family has not hosted a bash due to the demise of Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s father-in-law Rajan Nanda, as per reports. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya performed a puja at their bungalow in Mumbai today. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared photos from the festivities on her Instagram account today.

In one photo, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya pose for a family photo. Aishwarya looks stunning in an ivory outfit, simple hairdo and nude makeup rounded her look. She is colour coordinated with daughter Aaradhya who looks adorable in a lehenga. Abhishek Bachchan looks dapper in a light blue kurta and white pyjama. Aishwarya also shared another selfie with daughter Aaradhya. She wished all her fans a happy and prosperous Diwali. She captioned the photos, “Love and light always”, “Happy Diwali to all”.

LOVE n LIGHT ALWAYS

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned a year older a few days ago and the family holidayed in Goa. Aishwarya posted photos with Abhishek and Aaradhya from the trip. Bollywood celebrated Diwali with pomp and splendour today. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Karisma Kapoor, Kajol and other stars were spotted in Mumbai celebrating with friends and family. On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan is busy with the shoot of Anurag Basu’s next. He has shot for a major portion of the film in Kolkata. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be reuniting on screen with Abhishek Bachchan for Gulab Jamun.
