Diwali 2017: Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan hug it out; pose with Gauri Khan
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan attended Aamir Khan's Diwali bash.
Aamir Khan held a Diwali bash last night which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. Amongst those who were snapped at the party were Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar amongst others.
But the guest we were all waiting for was none other Shah Rukh Khan who graced his presence at the bash with his darling wife Gauri Khan.
Aamir, himself welcomed SRK and Gauri to the party and the trio was seen posing for the shutterbugs.
Shah Rukh looked handsome in a velvet blue kurta with black harem pants and brown shoes. Gauri looked pretty in a green concept-draped saree. Aamir looked dapper in a cream coloured kurta, white pyjamas and black shoes along with his trademark glasses.
For the highlight of the night, Shah Rukh and Aamir were seen embracing each other and hugging it out.

Recently, when Shah Rukh was asked about his unusual camaraderie with Aamir and Salman Khan by a leading daily, the actor replied, "I wish everyone well, and I am sure they wish me well too. We (the Khans) have been doing this [acting] for too long. Initially, for the first 5-6 years, when there are new actors, such things (competition etc.) might happen, especially when people around you talk on those lines but when you have been there [in the industry] for so long, two things become very clear — firstly, if people say that you are done with when a newcomer is making his/her debut, it’s not true. I have seen enough of that, and secondly, if someone says, ‘you are competing with your contemporaries,’ then that’s not true either since the ‘contemporaries’ have known each other for very long,"
He added, "I think the three of us know that we have something in us that makes us think on similar lines. So, if I say something, Aamir will understand and if Salman has to say something, Aamir and I will understand, and that’s how it goes. There might not be any fourth person in the world who has been doing it for so long and will understand the same things. Even we don’t understand or try to understand that camaraderie. We know about each other’s feelings."
On the other hand, when Aamir was asked about how an interaction between Shah Rukh and him would look like, the actor replied, "I have sat with Shah Rukh many times and he is a very entertaining person to sit with. He is wonderful in telling stories and I love listening to him."
He added, "I think between him and me, I am more curious because I like to hear him talk and the way he narrates his stories. He really brings the moment alive. So, he is a wonderful storyteller and it's fun to listen to him."
