Divas Karisma Kapoor and Sridevi attend Manish Malhotra’s show at the Lakme Fashion Week

Day 5 of the Lakme Fashion week ended on a high note as Manish Malhotra showcased his Winter/Festive collection Tales of Indulgence’. Manish is a Bollywood favorite and many stars were in attendance to support their favorite designer today. Jacqueline Fernandez and Aditya Roy Kapur turned showstoppers for Manish’s trendy collection.

Manish has designed fashionable clothes for the upcoming wedding season.Talking about the collection Manish had said, “The bride is changing, the bridegroom is changing. They are Indian at heart, they love the Indian wedding but they are also influenced by social media. We started with gowns and they did very well for us. Also the bride wants to wear something very different for her Mehendi, for the wedding day and all of that. Maybe the first wedding dinner or the cocktail outfit is now becoming a dress. Bridegrooms don't want to wear a Sherwani all the time. I think that's the changing trend.”

Karisma Kapoor who is often seen flaunting Manish Malhotra’s outfits was in attendance today with close friend Amrita Arora Ladak. Karisma looked gorgeous in a black dress, whereas Amrita opted for a bright pink and silver outfit for the show.

Sridevi also came in to support dear friend Manish. Incidentally, a few days ago Manish Malhotra hosted Sridevi’s birthday bash. The two are said to be close family friends. Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor looked absolutely stunning in her off-shoulder gown as she accompanied mom Sridevi to the show.
