Dhadak: Janhvi Kapoor rests her head on Ishaan Khatter's shoulders in this new poster

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are all set to be seen in Dhadak directed by Shashank Khaitan. The trailer of the film is set to be unveiled soon. Dhadak will release on July 20, 2018. Today, Jahnvi shared a poster of the film wherein she has put her head on Ishaan's shoulders.

The film is an official remake of 2016 Marathi hit film Sairat. The shoot of the film completed a couple of months back and people can't wait to watch it on the big screen.
In an interview with DNA, Khatter cleared that, "Dhadak is an adaptation, rather than a remake." He went on to add that he's aware of the fact that adaptation haven't really worked at the box office in the recent times. "But it depends on your intention behind directing a film. Director Shashank Khaitan understood that it’s such an important film for our country. Also, it is so easily adaptable into the different cultural milieu that it was important to make this film reach out to more audiences and he wanted to do it his way."
Recently, as she posed for her first magazine cover with Vogue India, during the interview, Janhvi revealed that her late mother and veteran actress Sridevi saw a few rushes of Dhadak.
Sridevi had watched 25 minutes of Janhvi. Janhvi stated that the legendary actress who had done over 300 movies had adviced her daughter on the things she wanted her to improve. Sridevi felt that Janhvi's mascara was smudged which bothered her and stated that the second half has to be different. No makeup during the shots was what she said and overall she was happy with Janhvi's performance.
Dhadak is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
