Dhadak: Janhvi Kapoor looks stunning in this photo shared by Karan Johar

Janhvi Kapoor has been promoting her debut film, Dhadak with Ishaan Khatter. They launched the title song of the film in Jaipur recently and unveiled Zingaat at a radio station.

The film is a love story set against the background of caste discrimination and politics. Janhvi essays the role of Parthavi whereas Ishaan will play the role of Madhukar in the film. The film’s trailer has piqued audience’s curiosity. The film is set to release on July 20, 2018.

The duo have been going all out to promote the film; from media interactions to visits to different cities.

Janhvi has been setting fashion goals with her sartorial choices during the film’s promotions. She has been opting for ethnic wear and statement earrings with nude make-up complete her look.

Today, mentor Karan Johar posted a photo of Janhvi dressed in a pink and red pallazo kurta designed by his sister. Janhvi Kapoor carries herself with poise looks elegant in the outfit. Pairing the classy attire with an alluring pair of earrings, beige heels and a bright smile accentuated her look.

In an interview while promoting the film, Janhvi said that apart from being an entertaining film, Dhadak will also give a social message. Dhadak is the remake of the Marathi superhit film by Nagraj Manjule, Sairat. She also said that Zingaat comes at a critical point in the film and that she understands if people are attached to the original song from Sairat.
