Dhadak: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter return to the city after promoting the film in Lucknow

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have been on a promotional spree for their upcoming film Dhadak. The film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in the film industry. Dhadak has been directed by Shashank Khaitan and is the remake of the Marathi super-hit film Sairat.

Janhvi plays the role of Parthavi in the film, whereas the name of Ishaan’s character is Madhukar. The film is set against the backdrop of caste discrimination and politics. At the trailer launch of the film, Janhvi had said that she had seen Sairat with her mother Sridevi and the two had discussed how Janhvi should make her debut in a film like this.

Janhvi and Ishaan have been promoting the film by meeting the audience at different cities. They launched the title track of the film at a promotional event in Jaipur. Janhvi and Ishaan were in Lucknow for the past two days, where they promoted their film.

At the event in Lucknow, the actors entertained their fans by performing to songs from the film. Janhvi and Ishaan danced to the title song and enthralled audience by performing on Zingaat.

Janhvi and Ishaan returned to the city today. Janhvi looked fresh as a daisy in a monochrome outfit. She finished her look with statement earrings and tied her hair in a ponytail. Ishaan kept it casual in a white tee and black tracksuit.
