Dhadak: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter head to Lucknow for promotions
Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are all set to star in Shashank Khaitan's directorial titled Dhadak. The film is an adaptation of Marathi film Sairat and is slated to release on July 20, 2018.

Newcomers Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are going out-and-out to promote their upcoming film Dhadak. The actors are seen making city tours and today were snapped while making their way towards Lucknow. Janhvi and Ishaan were clicked at the airport a while back.
Janhvi looked pretty wearing a pista green long Lucknowi kurti with white salwar. A pair of juttis and jhumkas rounded her traditional look. On the other hand, Ishaan sported a casual cool look wearing a green T-Shirt and a pair of distressed jeans with a blue faded denim jacket.
They were all smiles posing for the shutterbugs present there.

Dhadak is an adaptation of Marathi superhit film Sairat (2016) which was directed by Nagraj Manjule. The Hindi remake is helmed by Shashank Khaitan and it is set in Rajasthan.
The song Zingaat which was a huge hit was also remade in Hindi for Dhadak and it was released this week. The music for the film is also composed by Ajay-Atul who were the music composers for Sairat.
The Hindi version of Zingaat has received a mixed reaction from the audience.
At a radio station recently, Janhvi Kapoor expressed her happiness about the response received to the song Zingaat from her film. She said that she is happy with the positive response. Talking about comparisons, she mentioned that people are attached with the Marathi version but the song is important for the storyline and characters of the film.
Dhadak is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
