Dhadak: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter enthrall audience at an event in Lucknow

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are on a promotional spree for their upcoming film Dhadak. The film slated to release on July 20, 2018 has been directed by Shashank Khaitan. Janhvi Kapoor will be making her debut in Bollywood with Dhadak. The film is a remake of the Marathi super-hit film Sairat.

The makers have launched two songs from the film- the title song and Zingaat. Both the songs have been loved by the audience. Today, Janhvi and Ishaan visited Lucknow to promote the film. The actors entertained their fans by performing to songs from the film. Janhvi and Ishaan danced to the title song and enthralled audience by performing on Zingaat.

Janhvi looked stunning in ethnic wear; she kept her styling simple with open hair and nude make-up. Ishaan opted for a blue kurta and denim. The actors were in a cheerful mood with Ishaan taking jibes in jest at Janhvi Kapoor.

Janhvi Kapoor said in a recent interview that she understands mixed reactions to their song Zingaat. But explained that the song comes at an important juncture in the film.

Janhvi also said in an interview to Vogue magazine that she wants her debut to be the debut of the year as she wants to make her family proud.

This is Ishaan Khatter’s second film after his debut with Beyond the Clouds.
