Dhadak: Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter continue shooting for the movie in the city
Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter were spotted in the city as they continued shooting for Dhadak that is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan. Both were seen in de-glam looks to keep in tune with their characters.
Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are in the midst of shooting for their upcoming Bollywood debut, Dhadak. The movie, which is the Hindi adaptation of the 2015 Marathi movie, Sairat, is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan.
The duo was spotted in the city as they resumed shooting for the movie and both were seen sporting de-glam looks to keep in tune with their characters.
Janhvi was in her traditional avatar as she donned a white and dark blue kurta which she paired with dark blue pyjamas and flats while her hair was tied in a bun. On the other hand, Ishaan sported a striped purple shirt which he paired with brown trousers and flats.

Meanwhile, speaking of Dhadak, the movie tells the story of two teenagers battling the rigid caste system for their love for each other.
Earlier, about Dhadak, Shashank had revealed to Pinkvilla in an interview, "Dhadak is a title, a word and quite relatable. We are really excited about the film. I was always very excited to go to two new fresh faces and see how it works. Janhvi and Ishaan get a sense of innocence to the table and that's what we will capitalize on."
On the other hand, the filmmaker had said in another interview, "The basic premise is of differences in caste, honour killing and what it means to survive in that world and I feel that is the conflict that is alive all across India, you will hear stories like that. So in that sense, the basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations."
Dhadak is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
