Dhadak: Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to create magic in 2018

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor are all to embark a new journey with Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak. Ishaan took to Instagram to share a picture of co-star Janhvi and captioned it as, "Catch the magic in 2018." The picture looks like a still from their upcoming film. 

Dhadak is an official remake of 2016 Marathi blockbuster Sairaat. Post the release of the posters, we got in touch with director Shashank Khaitan and asked about the idea behind the creative aspect of the look. 

On these lines, he told us, "I think the idea behind the posters was to give the honest representation of the film we want to make and to do justice to it. It was also about giving sense to the character we are going to portray and that's the basic intent we plan to do with the film. It's a special film and right from the title, we wanted to be honest."

Talking about the title, he added, "Dhadak is a title, a word and quite relatable. We are really excited about the film." We also asked him why are Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter the apt choices for his film?

Replying to us, he said, "Honestly, I felt it right from the beginning. I was always very excited to go to two new fresh faces and see how it works. Janhvi and Ishaan get a sense of innocence to the table and that's what we will capitalize on." 

Dhadak tells the story of two teenagers battling the rigid caste system for their love for each other. The film is all set to release on July 6, 2018.
