Dhadak: Check out the fun Janhvi Kapoor had on the sets in these BTS photos

Janhvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak is all set to hit the screens on July 20. She is starred alongside Ishaan Khatter in the film.

Dhadak is an adaptation of Marathi film Sairat (2016). The original film starred Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in the lead roles. 

The Hindi film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar. 

The original film was set in a village from Maharashtra and the city of Hyderabad. Dhadak will have a Rajasthani backdrop and the story will be taken forward in Kolkata.

We got a few pictures of Janhvi Kapoor from the sets that were clicked behind-the-scenes in which the actor is having fun with  her co-stars. These photos were shared by actor Ishika Gagneja who plays Janhvi's best friend in the film.

The music of the film is composed by Sairat's music directors Ajay-Atul. The Hindi version of Zingaat is also a hit just like the Marathi version.

In the interview with DNA, when Ishaan was asked about comparisons with Sairat he said that he was aware of comparisons. The actor said that even the Dhadak team loves Sairat and hence, they have made this Hindi film. He believes peopleshould put it in perspective as they have seen only 2-3 percent of the film in the trailer.

The actor also said that Dhadak has its own individuality and the story deserves to be told to the larger audience. He is also excited to know about people's reaction once the film is released.
