Dhadak actors Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor snapped outside a theatre

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor have begun the promotions of their upcoming film Dhadak. The film will make Janhvi's debut in the film industry.

Dhadak is Ishaan Khatter's second film after Beyond The Cloud. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and it is a remake of Marathi superhit film Sairat.

Today, Ishaan and Janhvi were snapped outside a theatre in Mumbai. Janhvi looked pretty in green traditional attire. She was all smiles as she was engrossed in a conversation on the phone.

Ishaan Khatter looked smart in as he was dressed in all black.

Yesterday, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter had gone to Jaipur to launch the Dhadak title track. The song is composed by Ajay-Atul (who also composed songs for Sairat) and the title track is crooned by Ajay.

Dhadak title track is intense and romantic and aptly describes the feeling of true love. Janhvi and Ishaan's chemistry in the song is adorable.

At the song launch, the actors danced together on Dhadak title track and the audience went berserk after seeing their performance.

Dhadak will also have a Hindi version of  Zingaat which was one of the most popular songs from the Sairat album. A few bits of the song was played in the background of the trailer. 

Sairat's background was set in a village from Maharashtra and in Hyderabad, whereas Dhadak will see the actors belonging to a village in Rajasthan and later taking the story forward in Kolkata city.

The film is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
