Deepika Padukone is basking in the success of her latest release, Padmaavat. Deepika’s performance in the film has been widely appreciated. Her restrained performance in the magnum opus has won her immense appreciation.

Deepika has been spending time with her family and prepping for her next film. Deepika enjoyed a family vacation in Maldives earlier this year and even spent some time at her Bangalore home.

Recently, Deepika’s father and ace shuttler Prakash Padukone received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Badminton Association of India. Deepika along with her mother and sister Anisha attended the felicitation ceremony in Delhi.

At the event, the organizers presented a video of Prakash Padukone’s achievements, post which he collected the award. Deepika got extremely emotional at the ceremony and was seen cheering for her father. On the work front, Deepika will reportedly be flying to Nepal to shoot for the film which will be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The film will go on floors early next month and Deepika will be reuniting with her Piku co-star Irrfan Khan for the film based on the life of Sapna Didi.
