At the summit, Deepika interacted with powerful women from different fields. She also spoke about different issues. She said, “Being a role model comes with certain responsibilities. I could have chosen to lead a careless life off-screen but it is my choice to be a good role model.”

She also said that 3Ds make her what she is – dedication, discipline and determination. She added, “Eventually it boils down to what you are capable of as an individual.”

Deepika has been at the top of her game and all her recently released films have been super-hits. Padmaavat has already crossed the 100-crore mark. Deepika also accepted in a recent interview that she gets paid more than her male co-stars.

At the summit, she said, “I can be extremely selfish at this moment in my life. I can put in 24 hours at work without anyone at home waiting for me.”
