The movie also stars Vikrant Massey of Mirzapur fame in a pivotal role. The movie is based on the real - life story of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. Chhapaak is scheduled to be released on January 10, 2020. It also happens to be the first project of Deepika Padukone as a producer.
