After a long wait, finally, the date of Chhapaak trailer launch is here. Starring Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey, Chhapaak is the story of the triumph of an acid attack survivor, Malti. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is one of the most anticipated films of 2020. The film’s shoot had begun early this year and Deepika was seen shooting for the same on the streets of New Delhi. A day back, Deepika announced that the trailer of Chhapaak will release today.
Today, for the trailer launch, Deepika arrived in complete style. The diva opted for a chic and classy look for the launch event. In the photos, Deepika can be seen clad in a black bodycon dress with a matching pair of heels. Padukone’s hair is pulled back and left open while she rounded off her look with a dazzling pair of earrings. With smokey eye makeup, Deepika kept it bold and beautiful for Chhapaak trailer launch. On the other hand, Vikrant was seen keeping it stylish in formals.
In the photos, Vikrant can be seen opting for a beige blazer with matching pants and a white tee. The actor rounded off his look with sneakers and a pair of sunglasses. Both Deepika and Vikrant posed ahead of the trailer launch for the paps. Deepika was all smiles and looked excited to unveil the Chhapaak trailer.

Chhapaak is the story of Malti, played by Deepika Padukone, who suffers from an acid attack at a young age. It is inspired by the story of Laxmi Agarwal, the most known acid attack survivor. The film has been shot in New Delhi and Mumbai. Vikrant will be seen playing Deepika’s love interest. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak is co-produced by Deepika Padukone. It is slated to release on January 10, 2020.
