Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be tying the knot in a private ceremony in Mumbai on May 8, 2018. The Kapoor and Ahuja families have sent e-invites to the guests.

They released a statement confirming the wedding dates on May 1, 2018. “The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives,” the statement read.

Sonam and Anand’s wedding festivities will be a two-day affair in Mumbai. As per the invitation cards, Sonam Kapoor’s Mehendi ceremony will take place on May 7, 2018, at the banquet hall of her new apartment, Sunteck, Signature Island. Sonam purchased a duplex costing close to Rs. 35 crores in this apartment a few years ago. Sonam’s Mehendi will be done on May 6, 2018 at her residence. Check out photos of the venue:

The wedding ceremony will take place at Sonam Kapoor’s aunt Kavita Singh’s residence on May 8, 2018. It will be an afternoon wedding and Sonam and Anand will exchange garlands at the temple in the bungalow. Here is the photo of the bungalow:
