Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De India turned 10 just a few days ago. The movie redefined sports films in India opening an array of opportunities for women athletes in the country.

Along with Shah Rukh, it was the girls who stole the limelight with their exemplary performance.

Today, Sagarika Ghatge and Vidya Malvade reunited over lunch. The two were snapped outside a restaurant today looking pretty as ever. While Sagarika looked chic in a denim dress, Vidya sported a printed kurta and pyjama.

In an interview with us, Jaideep Sahni, Chak De India's writer had revealed what inspired him to make the movie. "Around the time when I was working on Khosla Ka Ghosla and when I was in Delhi, I read a news report of Women Hockey team winning an international tournament but the size of the article was very small which kind of disturbed me. It made me feel like even if the men's team had not done well or lost the match, they both would have been on the front pages, and the Women Hockey team despite winning the tournament did not get the required space. Something very unfair about it hit me and then I started following hockey news and I started meeting coaches and athletes. I just felt that maybe someone should make a film on it and make this world of Hockey alive because for me they were heroes," he said.

Shah Rukh Khan too released a video thanking everyone associated with the film especially the girls.
