Cannes 2018: Mahira Khan dazzles on the red-carpet in an elegant look

Mahira Khan had shared yesterday that her red carpet outfit is stuck with the Customs and had not arrived at Cannes. Today, she tweeted, “On my way you guys.. dress didn’t turn up, but it’s raining and I’m nervous but maybe it’s a sign.. baarish aur mera purana rishta hai! #Cannes2018” She however, managed to nail the red carpet look in an Alberta Ferreti gown.

She dazzled in an off-shoulder black gown and accentuated her look with minimal makeup, red lips and accessorized it with a neckpiece. The body-hugging pleated gown looked beautiful on Mahira. She was all smiles on the red-carpet and walked with Sonam Kapoor. The two actors were seen bonding before the red carpet.

Mahira pulled off her elegant look with flair and impressed us with her looks at her debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Mahira announced that she will be representing the beauty brand she endorses in a social media post. Mahira posted on social media, “Let’s do this! Arnold Schwarzenegger at the 1977 Cannes Film Festival, where he presented the documentary "Pumping Iron."

Meanwhile, at a recent media interaction, she shared her excitement about going to Cannes. She had said, “I feel like I am a player going abroad to play for Pakistan but I am playing all alone. I am very nervous. This is a proud moment for Pakistan and hopefully it will open more doors for us.”

Mahira Khan was quoted saying that she feels extremely humbled about the development. Further adding that she is excited about attending the prestigious film festival and is still deciding on the outfits to wear for the event.
