Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Bulgaria where he is shooting for the magnum opus Brahmastra. The movie, which is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy and is the first part of a trilogy.

Joining the cast recently was wrestler Saurav Gurjar who plays the antagonist in the film. He is well known for playing Bheem on the small screen. Saurav has also become Ranbir's new gym buddy and the two are bonding during their workouts.

Saurav took to Instagram to share a photo with Ranbir from the gym. In the photo, Ranbir, who is decked in black and red sports gear, is seen getting a piggyback ride from Saurav. Ranbir's adorable attempt to put Saurav in a sleeper hold is hilarious.

Saurav's caption reads as, "I believe He is a super sweet buddy!! Supaaaa fun working with him!!! Love and respect bro!!!! #aftershootlife #funtimebuilding #bollywood #ranbirkapoor #sofia #bulgaria #europiangymnasium #workoutroutine."

New bromance in the works, indeed!

Earlier, talking about his character in Brahmastra, Saurav revealed in a statement, "I will be seen playing a negative role. It's a modern-day film set in India. But the reason it's called Brahmastra is because the energies, wisdom and powers in the film come from ancient India. Brahmastra is a weapon of Hindu God Brahma, who is called the creator of universe, and hence is considered quite powerful,"

For the uninitiated, Saurav recently signed with WWE and thanked them for allowing him to shoot for Brahmastra. "I am thankful to WWE for giving me the permission and allowing me to do the film," Saurav said.

Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
