Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt wrap the Mumbai schedule; actress shares a selfie with Ayan Mukerji
Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram page and shared a selfie posing with director Ayan Mukerji. The actor also announced that the Mumbai schedule of Brahmastra has been wrapped.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been shooting for Brahmastra extensively in Mumbai. The actors kickstarted the Mumbai schedule last month after the Bulgaria schedule which ended earlier this year. Brahamstra is set to be a trilogy which is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji under Karan Johar's home banner Dharma Productions. Ranbir and Alia were often snapped while shooting for the film at a popular studio in the city and it has made people impatient for the release.
Today, Alia took to her Instagram page and announced that the Mumbai schedule has been wrapped. She shared a selfie posing with Ayan and captioned it stating, "& that's a schedule wrap #brahmāstra". In the photo, Alia is seen wearing an ethnic attire which she teamed up with oxidised jewellery. Whereas, Ayan wore a white T-Shirt and jeans with a blue denim shirt. Meanwhile, talking about Brahmastra, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. Apart from them, it also has Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The fantasy film was initially supposed to release during the Independence Day in 2019. Now, it has been pushed to December 25, 2019, that is, the Christmas weekend.
Interestingly, it was on the sets of Brahmastra in Bulgaria, Ranbir and Alia fell in love and since then they have been in a happy relationship. A couple of weeks back, when Alia injured her leg, it was Ranbir who took her to the clinic.
