Brahmastra - Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy join Ranbir Kapoor in Bulgaria for the film
Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to work together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film also stars Mouni Roy in a pivotal role.
Last week, Ranbir Kapoor was snapped in Bulgaria where he will be shooting for Brahmastra. The film is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
Yesterday, Alia took to her Instagram page and shared photos and videos while on her way to Bulgaria. Moreover, Mouni Roy also shared a similar photo which confirmed that she is indeed a part of Brahmastra.
Talking about it, a source stated to a leading daily, “Alia, Ranbir, and Mouni are all heading to Bulgaria, where they will be stationed for a few weeks. Ayan plans to shoot a few scenes in the foreign locale before they head back to Mumbai."

Both Ranbir and Alia have been taking dance rehearsals in the city for the film.
When a leading daily asked Ranbir about Brahmastra, the actor said, "Well, it’s not really a superhero film because the word ‘superhero’ comes with a preconceived notion about it. The film is, as Ayan puts it, ‘a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times.’ It’s got a great cast too with Alia Bhatt and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Other superb actors are also being cast in it. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years. It’s also very exciting, and risky at the same time because it’s something that has never been tried before."
Ranbir has sunk himself in prepping for Brahmastra. He has been taking sword-fighting, horse-fighting and dancing lessons for the film.
