Boney Kapoor heads to Chennai for Sridevi's prayer meet
Sridevi's untimely death has left her family and the film industry devastated. Sridevi's husband and producer Boney Kapoor was clicked at the airport while he was heading to Chennai for the late actor's prayer meet.

Sridevi was a legend in herself and it's been more than 10 days that the actor left for heavenly abode. Fans blocked the roads of the city just to see Sridevi's last glimpse. Sridevi's husband and producer Boney Kapoor was clicked at the airport while he was heading to Chennai for the late actor's prayer meet.

Post her demise, Boney Kapoor penned a heartfelt tribute to her which read, "Losing a friend, wife and mother of your two young daughters is a loss inexplicable in words. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family, we have tried to face this unbearable loss."
"To the world she was their Chandni..the actor par excellence…their Sridevi..but to me she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls..my partner. To our daughters, she was their everything….their life. She was the axis around which our family ran," wrote Boney.
Earlier talking about this ritual, a source said to a leading daily, "Conducting prayers at Haridwar is a significant custom for Hindus, especially for those who are from North India. And Boney wants to ensure that he goes through the rituals at the holy place."
It is also reported that the prayers in Chennai will not be held on the 13th day but it will be held in Sridevi's hometown on the 16th day.
