Harshvardhan Kapoor took to Instagram to confirm that he will share screen space with dad Anil Kapoor in Abhinav Bindra's biopic.
Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor who debuted in Bollywood with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya has signed his third film. He will be essaying the role of Olympic medalist Abhinav Bindra. There will be rumours that Harshvardhan will be sharing screen space with father Anil.
He took to Instagram to share a picture to confirm that he will be working with dad Anil. He also wrote a message which reads as, "Going to be sharing screen space for the first time with my dad in my next movie #Bindra. I'm happy to be working with my dad, but also nervous because of his stature as an actor #MixedBagOfEmotions I look forward to learning from him and also making memories. This movie just got a whole lot more special #LetsDoThis @anilskapoor."
About the film, Harshvardhan had said to a leading daily, “The biopic is a big responsibility because of the subject matter. It is the most mammoth responsibility I’ve ever shouldered. I roped in Abhay, who wrote the final draft of Bhavesh Joshi, to work on a new draft of the Bindra biopic. We are taking the script into a really exciting place. It’s about externalizing internal conflicts, and making it emotionally and visually spectacular.” Harshvardhan has already begun preparing for the film and he will be undergoing extensive training for the role.
When we asked Anil Kapoor about the reports of working with Harsh, he told us, "There are so many layers to those projects. I feel there are tick marks when it comes to starting the project. Once you start ticking it, the layers are done, then it's better to talk about it. Now, it's too early to even talk about it. I can't say anything at this stage."
Now that it's confirmed, it will be interesting to see Harshvardhan and Anil together on the big screen.
